According to the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, nearly 12 million women (mostly in poorer nations) couldn't access contraception amid the health crisis that emerged in view of the coronavirus pandemic. "Covid has wrought havoc on the women and girls of the world. But the poorest and the most vulnerable now are seeing the most dire consequences," UNFPA Executive Director Natalia Kanem said.
