Norwegian climber becomes 1st to test positive for Covid on Mount Everest

After travelling the lengths and breadths of the world, the deadly coronavirus has reached Mount Everest. Norwegian climber Erlend Ness tested positive for the coronavirus in Mount Everest base camp. "We would need now most urgently mass testing in base camp, with everyone tested and every team being isolated, no contact between teams," Austrian mountain guide Lukas Furtenbach said while calling for immediate action.
