Over 1.6 lakh healthcare and sanitary workers at the frontline of India's COVID-19 battle got their first jabs on Saturday as PM Modi rolled out the world's largest vaccination drive against the pandemic. The Union Health ministry said that 1,65,714 beneficiaries were inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines till 5.30 PM across India on the first day at 3,351 session sites.
