According to a survey by Eurofound, more than a quarter of the adult population in the European Union is unlikely to take Covid-19 vaccine shots. Vaccine hesitancy is strongly linked with rumours related to vaccines on social media. "Unfortunately, these findings reflect a failure to deliver persuasive and clear communication regarding the efficacy and safety of vaccines," said Daphne Ahrendt, Eurofound senior research manager.
