Phase 2, 3 trial of Covaxin on children between 2 to 18 years started by AIIMS Patna

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has started the phase 2 and 3 trials of Covaxin on children in the age group of 2 to 18 years. 15 children from the age group turned up for vaccination voluntarily and three of them were given the doses first. “We are commencing the trials today in the reverse order of age from today. Children in the 12 to 18 years age group will be given the shots first," said Dr. CM Singh.
