Russia records highest daily Covid deaths since outbreak

As the Russian government struggles to vaccinate its population, the country recorded 936 fresh Covid-related deaths on Friday, the highest daily fatalities since the start of the pandemic. The country has recorded over 900 deaths for 3 straight days. Russia has recorded more than 214,000 Covid-related deaths till now, the highest in Europe. 27,246 fresh cases of coronavirus were confirmed on Friday.
