Scientists concerned about Tanzanian Covid variant with 34 mutations

As double mutant and triple mutant of Coronavirus unleash havoc in India, scientists are concerned about a variant that emerged in Tanzania. As per the reports, the variant has acquired at least 34 mutations and it is said to be the most genetically diverse COVID-19 virus detected so far. The concerning variant was first detected among three people who had flown to Angola from Tanzania in mid-February.
