Tamil Nadu doctor dies after getting fake doses of remdesivir

A Tindivanam-based doctor passed away after he was administered fake doses of anti-viral drug remdisivir. The cause behind the doctor's death was confirmed by the Tamil Nadu health department. Police officials are looking for suppliers of the fake drug. The I-Med Super Speciality Hospital has been fined Rs. 1 lakh. The hospital had an invoice of 12 vials of remdesivir but 18 were found in their stock.
