The government has announced certain tax benefits and compliance reliefs for taxpayers in order to provide relief to those who are experiencing hardship as a result of COVID-19. Among the most significant deadline extensions is the extension of the linking of PAN card and Aadhaar card by three months, to September 30, 2021. In the midst of the pandemic, this is the third such extension for linking the two identification documents.
