Thailand's drug regulator gives nod for emergency use of China's Sinopharm vaccine

In a bid to counter the spread of coronavirus infection in the country, Thailand's food and drug regulator has given its approval for emergency use of Sinopharm, the Covid-19 vaccine developed by China. Senior health official Paisan Dankhum told the media about the approval in a news conference. The country has recorded more than 1.43 lakh Covid-19 cases so far. As many as 920 deaths have been recorded in the country.
