The National Institute of Disaster Management has warned that the third wave of Covid-19 will affect children more than adults. "Paediatric facilities - doctors and equipment, like ventilators and ambulances, are nowhere close to what may be required in case a large number of children become infected," the agency said. NDIM also highlighted the issue of co-morbidities among infected children while calling for their vaccination.
