As many as 30 cases of blood clots after the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine have been identified by British regulators. However, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has said that it has received no such reports of clotting events following use of the vaccine made by BioNTech. The health officials have asserted that the benefits of the AstraZeneca vaccine still outweigh the possible risks.
