The daily COVID-19 cases in the United Kingdom have exceeded 1 lakh for the first time on Wednesday. 106,122 cases were reoprted in the last 24 hours in the UK, AFP reported. Meanwhile, the self-isolation period for people who test positive for COVID-19 in England will be cut from 10 days to seven for those who produce two negative LFT results on day six and seven since the start of their quarantine, UK Health Secretary announced.
