Israel is witnessing a fresh surge in Covid-19 cases despite vaccinating the majority of its population. Health officials have said those fully vaccinated are getting infected by the Delta variant of Covid-19. "Even though the numbers are low, the fact that this is reaching vaccinated people means ... that we are still checking how many vaccinated people have also been infected," Health Ministry Director-General Chezy Levy said.
