WHO clearance for Covaxin may come in October

The World Health Organisation said it will make a decision on Bharat Biotech's submission seeking emergency use listing for Covaxin in October. The Expression of Interest for the emergency approval was submitted by Bharat Biotech on April 19. WHO is currently assessing the vaccine manufactured by Bharat Biotech and according to the protocol, the results will be published if the vaccine meets the criteria for listing.
