With 10,229 new COVID-19 infections, India's active caseload now lowest in 17 months

India in the last 24 hours recorded 10,229 new COVID-19 infections and the active caseload has now dropped to its lowest in 17 months, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed on Monday morning. As per the health ministry, the country's active caseload now stands at 1,34,096 and is the lowest in 523 days. Active cases now account for less than 1% of the total infections reported across the country.
