Unless vaccination rates improve, “Covid zero” nations that have utilised rigorous border restrictions to keep the virus at bay for more than a year risk being locked in limbo and attacked by the virus again, according to public health experts. In a speech on Monday, Singapore PM said, “Covid-19 will not rule our lives in the 'new normal'. Our people will be mostly vaccinated, with annual booster doses taken every year.”
