Refused to share Facebook password, murderer was sent to jail

Stephen Nicholson was arrested as he refused to share the password of his facebook account. He was suspected to have murdered a school girl and his refusal to share the password has prevented the investigation to go forward. Lucy McHugh was 13 years old and was murdered on 26th July’18. He feared that sharing password can reveal information related to cannabis, which was an invalid reason and has been jailed for 14 months.
