EC says North Mumbai saw highest number of transgender voters

The Election Commission on its Voter turnout app revealed that North Mumbai constituency witnessed the highest number of transgender voters, i.e., 167, followed by Bengaluru (105) during the Lok Sabha elections 2019. While the app mentioned that the overall turnout of transgenders across the country remained low. The data said that the number of transgender voters in most of the constituencies remained nil or below 10.
