Asom Gana Parishad parts away from BJP in Assam

Time is not in favour of BJP if we look at the present situations. Just before the General Assembly elections, the Asom Gana Parishad to has refused to support BJP government in Assam over the Citizenship Bill. The announcement has been made by the AGP president Atul Bor. As per the bill, citizenship is given to Hindu, Parsi, Sikh, Jain and Christian immigrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
