BJP formed its new parliamentary party & announced the executive committee with PM Narendra Modi as its leader in Lok Sabha & Defence Minister Rajnath Singh as his deputy; Union Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot is appointed as the leader in Rajya Sabha & Piyush Goyal as the deputy leader. BJP appoints Sanjay Jaiswal as chief whip, 15 whips for the lower house & 6 whips for the upper house. Congress is yet to name its 2 leaders.
