EC launched mobile app for citizens to record any violation

Weeks before the much speculated Lok Sabha election, the Election Commission has introduced cVIGIL app. The app will enable android users to record any violation of the code of conduct. They can then send the recording directly to the election authorities. cVIGIL is a user-friendly android based app where the complainant can remain anonymous. The authorities must take action within 100 mins after getting the complaint.
