Congress party workers attacked photojournalists and media personnel working for a weekly Tamil magazine for clicking pictures of empty chairs in Tamil Nadu at a public meeting called by the state Congress to explain the party manifesto. In the video which is going viral on social media, party workers can be seen brutally assaulting journalists and snatching their cameras away. Later police had to intervene.
