Modi II Cabinet: More ministers with declared criminal cases than 2014 team

About 58 ministers were sworn in as members of the Union Council of Ministers. Of which, at least 22 or 39% have declared criminal cases against them according to their self-sworn affidavits filed at the time of elections, reveals an ADR report. Whereas in 2014; out of 64 ministers analysed by ADR, 20 or 31% had declared criminal cases against them. 16 ministers in the new cabinet have serious criminal cases against them.
