Laurel Griggs, a 13-year-old actress popular for several Broadway roles, breathed her last unexpectedly earlier this week. She died from a massive asthma attack despite taking medication for the condition. Griggs’ Broadway debut came at the age of 6 with ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ opposite actress Scarlett Johansson, but won accolades for her role as Ivanka in the musical ‘Once’. Many of her co-stars are still in shock.
