Bhupen Hazarika's Bharat Ratna award goes missing

A controversy has emerged in Assam over the “missing” Bharat Ratna award which was conferred posthumously to the legendary singer and musician Bhupen Hazarika. His son, Tez received the award. As per sources, Tez has left the country but has not handed over his award to anyone. All the achievements of Hazarika have been safely restored at Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Museum at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
