Bristol Post apologizes for racist front page published 21 years ago

Bristol Post published a front-page apology for their 21 years old story that featured the mugshots of 16 black men and the headline was “Faces of Evil”. These black men were charged for dealing cocaine. The article destroyed the trust and the credibility of the newspaper among African and Afro Caribbean community. Back then, Bristol post was called “The Evening Post” and the article was published on April 17th, 1996.
