Clash with Will Smith prompted ‘Bad Boys 3’ director to quit

The filmmaker who was previously supposed to write & direct ‘Bad Boys For Life’ has revealed he quit the anticipated sequel after clashing with Will Smith creatively. Joe Carnahan was originally on-board to helm the third installment of Will and Martin Lawrence’s blockbuster Hollywood action caper. However, he departed the project in September 2017 leaving Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to fill the director’s seats.
