The ninth film in 'Fast and Furious' franchise will hit the big screens on August 2 this year instead of May 22 next year. The film is written by Lin and Alfredo Botello and directed by Justin Lin who helmed 'Fast and Furious 6'. Vin Diesel, who is reprising Dominic Toretto, is producing the movie with Samantha Vincent and Lin. It also stars John Cena, along with Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Lucas Black.
