Filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi passes away at 64

Known for her films like Rudaali, Chingaari, Ek Pal and Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence, Filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi, passed away around 4:30 am at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after fighting with kidney cancer and was on dialysis for a couple of years. She was suffering from a chronic kidney disease and liver failure. Bollywood celebs including Raveena Tandon, Huma Qureshi pays tributes to her.
