Gal Gadot to star in and produce 'Irene Sendler'

Gal Gadot will play the titular role in the upcoming historical thriller ‘Irene Sendler’ for Warner Bros. The actor will also bankroll the film, her first with her production house Pilot Wave formed with husband Jaron Varsano. The film will shed light on the real-life story of a woman’s defiant stand against the Polish Nazi occupation and the unbelievable network she created to care for and save 2500 Jewish children.
