Globally Youtube to offer videos in 480p during COVID19

Just a few days ago Youtube announced that it is reducing its default streaming bitrates in Europe to reduce any kind of strain on the continent’s internet infrastructure. However, now Youtube has announced that they are going to offer 480p quality videos globally, during the COVID19 crisis. To limit data usage in Europe, many streaming service providers have been reducing the image quality drastically.
