The 77th edition of the Golden Globe 2020 awards were announced inside the Beverly Hilton ballroom in California. War drama 1917 won the award for the Best Film (Drama) while Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time In Hollywood turned out to be a favourite with three wins out of five nominations. Sam Mendes was awarded Best Director award for 1917. Renee Zellweger won the Best Actress (Drama) for playing the titular role in Judy.
