Indian author Annie Zaidi wins prestigious global book prize

Mumbai based Indian author Annie Zaidi has been announced as the winner of None Dots Prize. As a reward to that she will receive $100,000. This award acknowledges the innovative thinking of the authors that addresses contemporary world issues. Zaidi won it for her writing 'Bread, cement and cactus'. Zaidi works as a freelancer and she has worked of fiction, scripts and columns for newspapers and magazines.
