An episode of John Oliver had criticised PM Modi and hence blocked by Hotstar, the local platform run by Walt Disney Co. Oliver, the comedian, who was previewing Trump's visit to India had said, in an episode- while Modi might have charmed Bear Grylls, the world & our president; he is an increasingly controversial figure because his government has pursued a steadily escalating persecution of religious minorities.
