Actress Rasika Dugal, who worked alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the upcoming movie Manto, directed by Nandita Das, was paid more than Siddiqui. While celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Gurdas Mann and Javed Akhtar worked for free, Siddiqui charged on Re 1. When Siddiqui learned that Dugal was paid more, he was stunned and told her that he felt betrayed. Dugal said working with Siddiqui was fun for her.
