MNS demands CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi's resignation for favouring Modi biopic

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has demanded the resignation of Central Board of Film Certification chairman Prasoon Joshi over allegedly giving preferential treatment to the makers of a biopic on Narendra Modi. On 4 April, the makers of the biopic announced on social media that they had postponed the release of the movie, while the CBFC said the film was still undergoing due process of examination and certification.
