US TV network Hallmark, which is known for its annual lineup of holiday movies, took down four out six Zola ads that featured lesbian couples. "We are not allowed to accept creatives that are deemed controversial," the network said in an email written to Zola. The LGBTQ groups were agitated by the decision. Hallmark, however, apologized for hurting the sentiments of the community and for disappointing the partners.
