One person lost his life while five others got wounded in a rocket attack outside Irbil international airport near US base in northern Iraq. The person who lost his life was US-led coalition contractor. The region was struck by at least three rockets. The rockets hit areas between the civilian airport in the Kurdish-run region and the nearby US base. One US service member also sustained injuries in the attack.
