At least 1118 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the past 24 hours, the Delhi Health Department said on Saturday. During this period, 1201 people successfully recovered from the COVID-19 infection and were discharged from the hospital. However, 26 people died during this period, the health department bulletin said. Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 containment zones has come down to 496 in Delhi.
