12 wine bottles emptied by rats in liquor outlet in Tamil Nadu

In a bizarre incident, as many as 12 wine bottles kept in a government-run TASMAC liquor outlet in a town near Gudalur in the Nilgiris district in Tamil Nadu were emptied by rats. TASMAC employees were shocked when they found the empty bottles upon opening the shop at Kadampuzha on Monday. The shop had been kept closed for a long time in view of Covid-19. The cost of the bottles was found to be Rs. 1,500.
