120 Telangana govt school students beaten for washing hair amid water shortage

120 students of the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Telangana's Raghunathpally Mandal in Jangaon district were beaten by a teacher for washing their hair when the school was facing a water shortage. The incident that took place on Monday came to public knowledge after a complaint was filed by a child rights organisation Balala Hakkula Sangham over the same. Class 6 to Class 9 students had injuries on their hands after they were beaten.
