13 special forces soldiers from Australia have been dismissed in connection with a report that threw light at unlawful killings in Afghanistan. According to the report, 39 unarmed Afghan prisoners and civilians were killed by 19 Australian soldiers. Lieutenant General Rick Burr said, "We are all committed to learning from the inquiry and emerging from this a stronger, more capable and effective army."
