After the Supreme Court decriminalized homosexuality in India, the economy is expected to get a boost. The tourism sector will benefit as India will be recognized as a gay-friendly destination. Hong Kong provides a visa to spouses of expatriate workers and if that is enforced in India it will be helpful. Hotels and companies are working to provide equal benefits to the LGBTQ community as the heterosexuals of the society.
