Uttar Pradesh is the first state in India to make it mandatory for the vehicles to use the Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) with the e-way bill from 1st November. Any vehicle carrying goods worth over Rs 50,000 must provide the details on a portal to generate the bill and the vehicles need to get RFID tag embedded it on the windscreen. It will make things easier for the tax officials to map the goods with the tag.
