Out of 349 Fixed-Dose Combination drugs 328 banned

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has banned the manufacturing, sale, and distribution of 328 fixed-dose combination drugs with the immediate effect, while imposed restrictions on other 6 FDCs. The step has been taken for the human safety with the recommendation of the DTAB. This will include Saridon, Panderm, Gluconorm PG, Lupidiclox, and Taxim AZ, affecting the Indian Pharmaceutical business.
