Many evacuated, 10 injured after 70 fires and explosion erupted

On Thursday, dozens of explosions most probably triggered by a natural gas pipeline rupture, left at least 10 injured. Many were evacuated from US towns north of Boston. The police officials said that they had responded to 70 reports of fires, explosions, and the smell of gas in Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover. Electricity from the areas was cut off and gas services were stopped to prevent further explosions.
