No more Beetles on road from next year

Volkswagen has announced on Thursday, that it will stop the production of Beetle car from the upcoming year. Its production began in Germany in 1938 during the Nazi era. In 1998 ‘New Beetle’ came which attracted specifically female buyers. 80,000 units of the ‘New Beetle’ were sold in the US in 1999. The company said that it wants to focus on its other projects like electric cars and also no other car will ever replace Beetle.
