Despite annual average income of Rs 24.59L of MLAs, Chhattisgarh MLA getting Rs 5.4L

The income analysis has revealed that despite the annual average income of Rs 24.59 lakh in India of MLAs, 63 MLAs of Chhattisgarh assembly are receiving the lowest of Rs 5.4 lakh. Whereas, 203 MLAs of Karnataka are getting the highest average of Rs 1.1 crore annually. In the eastern region, 614 MLAs receive Rs 8.5 lakh yearly. 711 MLAs of the southern states are getting more than average of Rs 51.99 lakh.
