Every year, to show a tribute to the 9/11 victims, 2 soaring beams of light are put in lower Manhattan. According to the researchers, nearly 1,60,000 birds which are drawn to immense lights encircle these beams, get disoriented and exhausted. September 11 falls into the migration period of birds across New York City, and NYC council will hold a meeting today to address the issue and if any changes can be done.
